New Band Seals, higher quality, easier to install, longer lasting.  Made from a super-soft latex, these new band seals are far superior to the band seals we have offered in the past.  The primary problems in maintaining elasticity in the seal are sun light and exposure to air. If the seals are stored in a zip lock bag in a dark area they will last much longer. We have a number of testing instruments that rely on the Band Seal to mount the second stage. To insure the ongoing performance of these instruments, we ran a "new" batch of fresh seals. The "new" Band Seals are “amber” in color to differentiate them from the previous “red” or "blue" seals. They are shipped 10 seals to a package.
